Turn PDF pages into pictures without sending the document away
Sometimes a page has to be a picture: a slide for a chat message, a page of a report for a presentation, a certificate for a profile, or a form for a site that only accepts images. This page renders each page of a PDF and saves it as a JPG.
JPG is the right format for scanned documents and pages built around photographs, because it keeps those files small. It is less suited to crisp black text on white, where its compression can soften the edges of letters. For that kind of page, switch the format menu to PNG before you render.
Resolution sets how many pixels each page gets. Standard suits previews and messages, High is a good default for most uses, and Very high keeps small print readable when the image is printed or zoomed. Higher settings make larger files and need more memory, so on a phone with a long document a lower setting is more reliable.
The images are raster pictures of the pages. Text in them can no longer be selected or searched, and links and form fields do not carry over. Keep the PDF as the original and use the images where a picture is what is asked for.
Every page is rendered, and the images are numbered so they sort in page order. They arrive in one ZIP archive rather than as separate downloads, which keeps a long document from filling your downloads folder with prompts. Open the ZIP to use one page or all of them.

How are the pages downloaded?
Every page becomes a numbered JPG, and all of them come in one ZIP archive in page order, so a 12-page PDF gives you 12 images.

When is PNG a better choice?
