Crop PDF in three steps
FileGizmo crops the visible area of PDF pages without uploading the document or rebuilding it as images. It is designed for removing scanner borders, excess whitespace, registration marks, or oversized print margins while preserving the source text and graphics. Choose an unlocked PDF, select the pages to change, and enter the top, right, bottom, and left margins in PDF points. There are 72 PDF points in one inch. Blank page ranges apply the crop to every page.
The tool updates each page’s standard crop box in a browser worker, so text stays selectable and vector artwork is not recompressed. It also checks that the requested margins leave a usable visible area on every selected page. Cropping is not secure redaction: content outside the crop box may remain inside the PDF and could be recovered by another editor. Use a purpose-built redaction workflow for confidential information. Since documents can contain mixed page sizes, download and inspect every affected page before sharing or printing the result.

Does cropping delete hidden content?
It changes the visible crop box. Content outside that box may remain in the PDF structure.

Is page quality changed?
No. Cropping changes page geometry and does not rasterize or recompress page content.
