Quotation template
A quotation is a formal offer that tells a client exactly what you will do and what it will cost. A clear quote wins work because the client can compare it, trust it, and approve it without a back and forth. Build one with every field a buyer expects, then export it as a PDF and send it the same day.

A quotation is often the moment a client decides between you and someone else. If it is vague about scope or price, the client hesitates or asks for clarification, and momentum is lost. If it is specific about what is included, what it costs, and how long the price holds, the client can approve it on the spot.
The fields below are what a buyer looks for when comparing offers. Spell out the scope so there is no argument later, and make the total and the way to accept impossible to miss.
How to build and send it
Set out the fields in the editor, fill in the scope and prices, and export a PDF. Add a signature line so the client can approve it formally, then send it while the conversation is fresh. Everything happens in your browser, so the pricing and client details never leave your device.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a quotation and an invoice?
A quotation is an offer of what something will cost before the work is agreed. An invoice is a request for payment after the work is done or ordered. A quote often becomes the basis for the later invoice.
Why should a quotation have a validity period?
Prices and availability change. Stating how long the quote holds protects you from being held to an old price and gives the client a reason to decide rather than sit on it.
Is my quotation data kept private?
No upload happens. You build the quote in your browser, so client names, scope, and prices stay on your device and are never sent to a server.
