For students
Finish the file task without handing over your notes or ID.
Prepare application uploads, turn scans into reviewable text, and assemble coursework on the device already in front of you. There is no account to create and no daily task counter.
Your documents, photographs, and extracted study text are processed on this device, not stored in a FileGizmo account.

From source material to a checked submission
- Read the official portal or course instructions first. Write down the required format, dimensions, file-size ceiling, page order, and deadline.
- Use a preset only when it names the exact requirement you checked. Otherwise enter custom dimensions or a target size and keep the uncropped original.
- Run OCR for searchable notes when useful, then correct formulas, names, symbols, and page breaks against the scan.
- Open the finished download before submitting it. Check legibility at normal zoom, page order, filename, and the actual byte size shown by your device.
Professional boundary
Submission mistakes the tool cannot prevent
- A portal’s current notice controls. FileGizmo presets are conveniences, not a guarantee that every university, board, or exam uses the same rule.
- Compression can make fine print, stamps, or signatures unreadable. Inspect the output and choose a larger file when the portal permits it.
- OCR does not understand the academic meaning of a page. It can confuse similar characters, equations, tables, and handwritten text.
Clear answers
Questions before you begin
Are FileGizmo student tools free?
Yes. The current tools have no FileGizmo account requirement, daily task counter, output watermark, or paid download step. Your device capacity is the practical limit.
Will a 200 KB PDF always be accepted?
No. Acceptance also depends on the portal’s format, page, clarity, naming, and current size rules. Check the official notice and inspect the downloaded file before submission.
Can OCR read handwriting and equations perfectly?
No. The OCR tool is tuned for printed English text. Handwriting, equations, tables, and low-quality scans need careful comparison and correction.
Does FileGizmo keep my ID photo or application PDF?
No. Ordinary file tools process files locally in the browser. FileGizmo has no file upload endpoint, student account, or remote submission archive.
