The same tools, arranged around a job
Every tool on this site works the same way for everyone: the file is read in your browser and nothing is sent anywhere. What changes between one line of work and another is which tools matter, the order they are used in, and which mistakes are expensive. These pages set out that ordering for seven kinds of work, with the caution that belongs to each.
Why a role page rather than a longer tool list
A person arriving with a scanned lease and a person arriving with a semester of lecture notes need the same three tools in a different order, and they need to be warned about different things. A ledger export carries client names that must not reach a server. A signed exhibit must keep the signature verifiable. A student file usually just needs to be under a portal's size cap by tomorrow morning.
None of that changes what the tools do, so it does not belong in the tools. It belongs here, next to the tools it applies to, which is also why each page below links straight into the specific ones it recommends rather than back to the full catalogue.
